January Preschool Newsletter
Happy New Year! We pray everyone had a healthy and relaxing Christmas break. It is good to be back in school and on a schedule. We missed our students and are looking forward to a fun-filled January.
This month we will be reviewing the Christmas story, specifically the three wise men’s visit. Also we will be discussing how baby Jesus grew up to be a boy and a man. In addition to learning the Bible stories we will be having fun with a winter theme, including stories and activities about snow, snowmen, and mittens. If we are blessed to get enough snow just by chance, we may even create a class snowman outside in the churchyard. We may make a few snow angels too. I will inform you in advance of an outside play date, so that the children can be adequately dressed for the cold weather.
A lot of sickness tends to spread this time of year, so please keep your child home if he or she is not well. We request that your child be fever free, without medication, for at least 24 hours before returning to school. Also, if your child is sick with a stomach virus, do not send him or her to school until he or she is completely well. Thank you.
The preschool class is in need of a few boxes of 5 oz Dixie cups as well as baby wipes. If you are financially able and would like to help by making a donation of these items, it would be greatly appreciated.
